Access your development web servers from other devices
To test how your website looks on a phone, you can make your local server available externally. Learn how to set up Linux on FydeOS.
Add or open a port
- At the bottom right, select the time.
- Select Settings ⚙️.
- Select “Developers” section, then select Linux development enviroment > Port forwarding.
- Choose one of the following:
- Add a new port: Next to “Ports,” select Add. In the box that appears, add a port number, choose a type, or add a label to quickly identify your port.
- Use an existing port: Turn on your preferred port.
Remove a port
- At the bottom right, select the time.
- Select Settings ⚙️.
- Select “Developers” section, then select Linux development enviroment > Port forwarding.
- Choose one of the following:
- Delete a port: Next to the port you want to delete, select **More ** > Remove port.
- Delete all ports: Next to “Port number,” select **More ** > Remove all ports.
