Sign out or turn off your FydeOS device

When you’re done using your FydeOS device, you can sign out, put it to sleep, or turn it off.

Sign out

To let someone else use your FydeOS device, or to switch accounts:

1. At the bottom right, select the time.
2. Click Sign out.

Put your FydeOS device to sleep

• To save battery power while your FydeOS device is on, you can put it to sleep by closing the lid.
• If your FydeOS device converts into a tablet, press the power button.

Keep your FydeOS device awake

To have your FydeOS device stay awake when you aren’t using it:

1. At the bottom right, select the time.
2. Select Settings ⚙️.
3. On the left, select Device.
4. Select Power.
5. Under “When idle,” next to “While charging” and “While on battery,” choose Keep display on.

To keep your FydeOS device awake when the lid is closed:

1. At the bottom right, select the time.
2. Select Settings ⚙️.
3. On the left, select Device.
4. Select Power.
5. Turn off Sleep when cover is closed.

Important: If you use your FydeOS device at work or school, you might not be able to change your sleep settings. Please contact your administrator for more help.

Turn off your FydeOS device

To turn off your FydeOS device completely, try one of these options:

• At the bottom right, select the time. Select Power.
• At the bottom right, select the time. Select Sign out > Shut down.
• Press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds.
• Press and hold the Power button until you see a menu to Power off or Sign out
