Recover or Transfer Your FydeOS License

If your FydeOS for You license is no longer detected, it may be due to hardware changes such as a hard drive replacement or a MAC address change. In such cases, you can update the Device ID linked to your license by following the steps below.

Self-Service License Transfer

Note: This transfer method is only available if you were signed in to your FydeOS account when purchasing the license. License transfers are limited to once every 30 days.

  1. Visit the FydeOS Account Center and log in to your account.

  2. Select the FydeOS License option.

  3. Paste the Device ID of your new FydeOS device into the relevant input box to bind the license. You can find the Device ID under FydeOS Settings > About > License Info.

  4. Once entered, click the Change ID button to finalize the Device ID update.

  5. To ensure the update takes effect, please refresh the license status or restart your FydeOS device.

When sending a message, please include the following details:

  1. Screenshot of the payment receipt

  2. Device ID of the new device

  3. Device ID of the original licensed device, if available
