FydeOS offers two distinct pricing models to meet different user needs: FydeOS for PC/SBC/VM and FydeOS for You. Each model caters to different use cases, with our pricing structure based on principles of transparency and fairness.
FydeOS for PC/SBC/VM
Basic Usage Rights
FydeOS for PC, FydeOS for SBC, and FydeOS for VM versions are all available to use free of charge and without time limitations, including all basic system functionalities.
Value-Added Services
The following premium services are available for an additional fee:
- System OTA upgrade service
- Ticket support with SLA guarantee
- Remote assistance from the FydeOS support team
Update Policy

Major Version Updates (e.g., v18.0 → v19.0)
- Each update costs 2.49 GBP
- Fee covers CDN traffic and cloud service maintenance costs
- Approximately 2GB of data transfer per update
- Pricing effective from 1st August 2023

Minor Version Updates (e.g., v19.0 → v19.1)
- Includes bug fixes and security patches
- Completely free

FydeOS for You
FydeOS for You is a customised version of FydeOS, offering enhanced adaptability and support for specific devices. As part of the FydeOS Subscription Service, it provides a tailored experience for supported hardware, including regular updates, priority support, and additional features. Annual Subscription:
FydeOS for You operates on an annual subscription model. The subscription fee includes FydeOS access for your specific device, priority updates, and customised support to ensure optimal performance. -
Device Compatibility:
FydeOS for You is specifically designed for select device series, supporting unique features not available in the standard PC version. We strongly recommend FydeOS for You if you own a supported device. The list of supported devices is regularly updated and can be found on our Downloads page. -
Installation Process:
While similar to FydeOS PC installation, FydeOS for You includes additional support for device-specific customisations. -
Features and Support:
FydeOS for You offers device-specific feature support and performance optimisation. This version is optimised for specific hardware, ensuring full utilisation of your device’s capabilities. Subscription includes device-specific updates and support, including troubleshooting and technical assistance.
