FydeOS for PC, SBC, and VMWare versions are all free of charge without time limitations, including all basic system functionalities.

📈 Major Version Updates (e.g., v18.0 → v19.0)
- Cost: 2.49 GBP per update
- Covers CDN traffic and cloud service maintenance costs
- Approximately 2GB of data transfer per update
- Pricing effective from 1st August 2023
🔧 Minor Version Updates (e.g., v19.0 → v19.1)
- Includes bug fixes and security patches
- Completely free
⚙️ Update Options
- Participation in paid updates is optional
- You can disable “Keep FydeOS automatically updated”
- Free reinstallation of the latest version available at any time

FydeOS for You is a customized version offering enhanced adaptability and support for specific devices. Launched in September 2020, this subscription service provides a tailored experience.

Currently, FydeOS for You primarily supports Microsoft Surface series devices and Fydetab Duo. We recommend FydeOS for You if you own one of these supported devices.
