Your FydeOS device may use Hyper-Threading to increase performance in your apps and games.

Important: Hyper-Threading is turned off by default to protect you since it may be a security risk. As a result, some users may notice slower performance with some apps and games.

#Turn on Hyper-Threading

To turn on Hyper-Threading, you need Chrome OS version 74 and up. Learn how to .

  1. Open Chromium.
  2. In the address bar, enter chrome://flags#scheduler-configuration.
  3. Next to “Scheduler Configuration,” choose Enables Hyper-Threading on relevant CPUs.
  4. Select Restart.

Important: To switch back to the default setting, next to "Scheduler Configuration," choose Default img Restart.

#Turn off Hyper-Threading

  1. Open Chromium.
  2. In the address bar, enter chrome://flags#scheduler-configuration.
  3. Next to “Scheduler Configuration,” choose Disables Hyper-Threading on relevant CPUs.
  4. Select Restart.
