To make use of content-protected streaming services on FydeOS, Widevine activation within the settings is required. Below are the necessary steps:

  1. Obtain the necessary Windevine files for the appropriate architecture from your preferred place/vendor. If you cannot find this, you may try this one:
  2. Uncompress the file (if necessary) and obtain the file libwidevinecdm.so.
  3. Navigate to "Settings" -> "FydeOS Settings", and find the option to "Enable Widevine", and choose the file libwidevinecdm.so.

  1. Open the Settings.
  2. Navigate to FydeOS settings.
  3. Enable Widevine.
  4. Restart your device.
